Thanks To Your Help,
Google Now Lists The Chapel Correctly

Current Status as of November 14, 2008:

In the past week, the Shepherd's Chapel has begun to appear again in a Google Search and yesterday the Chapel appeared back as the first listed search result. For well over ten years the Chapel has always appeared as the first listed search result for "Shepherd's Chapel". But last March that all changed when suddenly the Chapel dropped off the Google Search completely. The Chapel continued to be listed number one on both "Yahoo.com" and Microsoft's "Live.com" search engines.

We tried our best to contact Google in several different ways, but all were to no avail. Then we appealed to our thousands of Internet viewers to help us and we provided the best recommended steps to be taken. The response by our faithful viewers was gratifying. As mentioned in last week's update: "The progress to date could not have been possible without all of your prayers and your active participation in making many suggestions and Google contacts. Several very knowledgeable technical experts who study with the Chapel volunteered many hours of consulting services for which we very much appreciate. Hundreds, if not thousands, of listeners tried many ways of letting Google know a problem existed. And those efforts were proven very helpful...... And, particular thanks to the unknown person who paid for a sponsored ad on Google which kept the Shepherd’s Chapel listed as the first search result for some many months." As Pastor Murray says, "God’s children are Can Do people".

Once again, thanks to all of you for your continued prayers and your actions in contacting Google to help effect the change. As always, our Heavenly Father is in control and while we do not know all of the reasons why we do know in the end, everything works out for the best (Romans 8:28).
